Abingdon Police Department- Trespassing Charge on 3-28-19

On Thursday, March 28, 2019, at approximately 11:53AM, Officer B.T. Graham was dispatched to the 800 block of Baugh Lane in reference to a trespassing call. Upon arrival, Officer Graham pulled behind a vehicle that was attempting to leave a residence, blocking it in. A deputy from the Washington County, VA Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene to assist. The officers approached the vehicle and identified the driver; however, the passenger repeatedly gave a false name and date of birth. After several attempts by the officers to get the passenger to identify himself, he was removed from the vehicle and taken into custody. Upon searching the male subject, Officer Graham found loose pills in his pants pocket.

The subject was identified as Darius Q. Bradley, 26, of 710 Chester Street, Bristol, VA. Bradley was charged with Trespassing, in violation of § 18.2-119 of the Code of Virginia; Possession of a Controlled Substance, in violation of § 18.2-205 of the Code of Virginia; and Providing False Identity, in violation of § 19.2-82.1 of the Code of Virginia. Bradley also has an active capias out of Washington County, VA. He was transported to the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail, where he was held without bond.
