"Turn Washington County Blue" on 2-19-16

The Abingdon Police Department and Washington County Sheriff’s Office are expanding the Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office campaign to show support for law enforcement. We want to “Turn Washington County Blue” on Friday, February 19^th, 2016. We challenge everyone to wear blue to show your support for Law Enforcement Officers. The past few weeks have been deadly for law enforcement across the nation so we have teamed up to show our support for the families of those fallen heroes. Send us your pictures on Friday of you and your businesses/organizations wearing blue. You can email the pictures to crimereport@abingdonva.us. We will share them on our Facebook and twitter pages.
