At approximately 6:45
AM on Tuesday, August 22, 2017, Abingdon Police were dispatched to the
intersection of West Valley Street and Cummings Street in reference to a two
car motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival, officers observed a vehicle that had
been involved in a crash caused by another vehicle, that the witness stated
left the scene.
Abingdon Police are looking for a cream/goldish colored PT Cruiser, with damage to the front end. The vehicle fled the scene going west on Valley Street.
